Is my video/audio uploaded to your servers?

No. All testing runs locally in your browser. We don't store your video or audio.

Why can't the site see my camera?

Browser or OS permissions are blocked. See:

Why does Zoom work but not this site (or vice versa)?

Usually a device selection or permission mismatch. Close other apps that may be using the camera.

Can I test microphone only?

Yes — use Audio Test Only on the homepage.

Which browsers are supported?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.

Why is my video dark or blurry?

Fix lighting first, then check resolution/framerate. See: /help/fix-blurry-or-dark-webcam

Does this work with external USB webcams?

Yes. Plug directly into a USB 3 port if possible. Avoid unpowered hubs.
