Fix Video Not Working in Zoom or Google Meet

Quick Checks

1. Close competing apps (Discord/OBS/Teams/Camera)
2. Select the correct device in Zoom/Meet and on this page
3. Allow permissions (OS + browser)
4. Restart the browser or Zoom after changing settings
5. Update Zoom/Chrome/OS to the latest versions

Zoom: Where to Look

• Settings → Video → Camera: pick the webcam that works on this site
• Try disabling HD on weak connections
• Toggle Use hardware acceleration (Advanced) if you see black preview

Google Meet: Where to Look

• Preview → More options → Settings → Video
• Choose the correct Camera and Send resolution
• In Chrome, click the camera icon in the URL bar → Allow

If the preview works here but not in Zoom/Meet, it’s almost always a permission or selection mismatch.
